Alice Marie Ewing, age 67, beloved mother, sister, and MeMe (Meems) went to be in the presence of our Lord and Savior on 1 April, 2023. Alice Marie passed away peacefully surrounded by me (her daughter, Carrie Ann) her sister, Barb, and her son-in-law, Aaron Reese. This obituary will be a little different than most you read. But that’s okay because that is how my mother would have wanted it to be. You see, mom always did life her way. If you were one of the few lucky people fortunate enough to tear down her walls she spent a lifetime building up, then you know what I mean. My mom has the most infectious laugh (cackle) I have ever heard. She fought hard and she loved hard. Mom enjoyed music and passed that joy on to all of her children and grandchildren. She had the most amazing sense of humor. She equally has a temper (LOL), and a “Look” (those who know, know). The picture chosen captures my mom’s sass and that was something to be a part of. The world will be an emptier place without “Weezie” as I affectionately called her. She will be missed. Rest easy now, mom, for all of eternity. You have always been deserving.

Alice is preceded in death by her parents, Bernard Ewing and Doris Denny Ewing, along with siblings, Shirley Ewing, David Ewing, Bill Ewing, and Sharon Lindsay.

Alice is survived by her 3 children Tracie Ewing, Carrie Reese, and Timmy Ewing. As well as her siblings, Barbara Yeager, Donna Pierce, and Harold Ewing, of N.Y.

Alice is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Benjamin Brower, Destiny Brower, Sarah Dean, Hunter Reese, Gytanna Ewing, and Tierra Ewing and 4 great-grandchildren Braelyn Dean, Sawyer Dean, Reese Dean, and Zachariah Hollen.

A private, family-only, service will be held at a date to be determined by family in the future.
